100mm Inst Rubber Swivel Chrome Durolite Castor (S4480D)
The S4480D by Richmond Wheel and Castor Co. is a swivel frame castor and has a institutional rubber wheel. This swivel castor is in our chrome durolite bolt range and has a maximum capacity of 100kg. The S4480D wheel is fitted with ball bearings and is mounted with a bolt. The swivel frame allows full swivel rotation to enable steering. The diameter of the institutional rubber wheel is 100mm, the wheel width is 32mm and can be ordered separately (iR4004). This model can also be ordered without the direction lock (part number S4480).
This castor includes a directional lock – This feature locks the swivel direction of the castor but still allows the wheel to turn. When the directional lock is released, full swivel function is returned to the castor. Castors with a directional lock are indicated by a ‘D’ at the end of the castor code, and feature a green pedal on the castor frame.
